SCULPTURAL LANDSCAPE
Marin County 2005

A garden created on a sixty acre property with the back portion under cultivation for organic olive oil. I designed the front garden to provide the transition from the architect designed home to the Tomales Bay. My approach was to create a sculptural landscape where the sculpture and the landscape become one inseparable. The major sculptural elements serve more than aesthetic purpose. They either block the glare of headlights from the highway below at night, shield from view a neighbor site, or provide a place to sit.
