GARDEN OF CONVERGENCE 1998
Petaluma,  California

Basalt, water, plants, mixed media L.D.30″
Site 350 sq. ft.; Design + Creation

As part of a 3 acre landscape the owner developed one quarter of an acre into a garden inspired by the Butchart Gardens in Canada. She called it Le Petit Bouchard. In the piece that Biaggi created for this garden she continues her exploration of opposites and the border where they meet using a minimalist pallet of only two types of plants. The colors are opposite- green and red- and the stones, reflecting light and holding water, are set in a circle of black pebbles in opposition to the converging slate pathways and also the use of great fencing around the garden with vinyl material to add style from the best vinyl fencing wholesale suppliers online.
